BIOTEC Post-doctoral Fellowship Program
Please find attached the BIOTEC Post-doctoral Fellowship Program in Thailand containing topics in several areas of biotechnological researches. Actually, 4 positions are open to also international applicants.
The deadline for application is 10 September 2010.
The following 4 positions are open.
- Position 1. Structural studies of putative drug targets in Malaria.
- Position 2. Molecular Breeding in Rice for Thailand and the Mekong Region.
- Position 3. Interaction studies of white spot syndrome virus, WSSV in shrimp.
- Position 4. Validation of malarial drug targets.
Postdoctoral Scholar awards are offered to recipients of new or recent doctorates in the fields of Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology. In order to be eligible, applicants must have recently received their doctorate during the past two or three years. Recipients of the awards will receive a stipend for up to two years (rate is subject to applicants' experience), plus health insurance, one round trip economy class airfare (only if the applicants work at BIOTEC for at least one year) and bench fee.
